Charlie's Burger

Black Angus with Shrooms - P500

Expensive? Yes… Worth it? Definitely!

Out of all the burgers I have ever eaten, this one has to rank at the top 5! That’s how good it was! For presentation, I give it a four out of five. Of course that’s just based on looks. The ingredients themselves were all fresh and freshly cooked. The angus beef patties were perfectly cooked and were still juicy. The buns were very soft and the vegetable were undoubtedly fresh giving the flavor another dimension to it. As for the taste, this one definitely deserves a five out of five. It was perfect! Nuff said! Price… yes it is very expensive. At P500, it is definitely one of the more expensive burgers out there on the metro but as I said, it’s definitely worth it. All in all, this one is a unique burger and definitely one of the best after all. That aside, I definitely recommend the shrooms! They’re unique to this store and though expensive, are very good!

Overall: 4.75/5 stars

Shrooms burger – P240

I was interested with this burger because it was for vegetarians, and so I ordered it. I thought that it would just look like small mushrooms but I was overwhelmed when I saw it. It was a big Portobello mushroom deep-fried with cheese and everything good in it. It was also surrounded by a lot of fries. It looked like a big patty; it didn’t taste like one, but it was very delicious. It has this distinct and unique taste that would make you eat more.

I just kept eating and eating that I didn’t realize that I was nearly done eating it. It was perfect in every way and it made me full. The only thing that I didn’t want was the fries because they were kind of soggy. But overall, it was a fulfilling experience.

Overall: 4/5 stars

Double Black Angus Burger – P300

For its presentation I give it a five. The burger looked very appetizing. The double patties made it look intimidating at first but it was one good-looking burger. It would probably be the best looking burger I have ever seen. The burger tasted amazing. The patties were juicy and at the same time delicious. The patties were firm but when you bit into them, they would break up into tasty little pieces of ground meat.

There were slices of cheese in between the buns and patties. So that made a total of 3 slices of cheese. It’s no question that I give its taste five stars as well! Although the burger was very tasty, it came with a price. The Double Black Angus Burger costs P300 without drinks or fries. The price of the burger may hurt but it was worth it because the burger was phenomenal. So for pricing, I give it four stars.

Good Burger

3C (Three Cheese) Burger

I was actually quite surprised when I got this week’s burger. It was the 3C(three cheese) burger of Good Burger with chicken patties. I heard a lot of good things about Good Burger especially about it being the healthy option for burgers and that their burgers are quite good. Taste-wise, I’d have to agree. The patties were cooked well and were still juicy and they went well with the different than usual buns they used. My friends said they looked and tasted like pan de sal. But the best thing for me was the melted cheese! Other than that, I’ll give the burger slightly low scores. Value? Around 3 stars. The burger was a bit small for something that cost 200++. For presentation, I’ll give it a two stars. The burger didn’t look all that appetizing and the patties, though very well cooked, looked a little bit on the burnt side.

Overall: 3/5 stars

Margharita Burger

For the Margharita burger, it had roasted tomatoes, basil, mozzarella, and cheese sauce. Initially, I loved the idea of the burger having these ingredients; it made me excited to really eat the burger. When the burger came, it didn’t really look good. The buns were just pandesal, the patty looked burnt and the smell isn’t enticing at all. When I finally took a bite, all the flavors didn’t go together. The patty was burnt, the bun was too soft, and the other ingredients were not really complementing the whole burger.

Overall: 1/5 stars

Good burgers!

Our next quest in finding the best burgers would be the good burgers! We hope that the burgers are really good.

Mile Hi Diner

Mile Hi Burger

Burger made from the finest burger bun. Filled with lettuce, tomatoes, and ketchup sauce. The meal also includes French fries with thousand island sauce for the side dish.

Presentation: 4 stars

The arrangement of the burger was fine. I liked how they placed the ingredients and the side dish. It was really satisfying for the consumers to try this meal. I didn’t find any disappointments in the meal. All in all, the presentation was almost perfect!

Taste: 4 stars

The taste was superb! It is a must taste. I super loved the taste of the bun. It was so soft and delicious. Above all, I liked the burger. It wasn’t over-cooked and its taste will give you a craving feeling that you just can’t get enough of it.

Price: 3 stars

The price is a bit high but reasonable.

Price: Php 215

Mozzarella Stuffed Burger
Presentation: 4 stars
It was love at first sight! My mouth watered the instant, it was served in our table. Everything looked and smelled nice.
Taste: 4 stars
Every bite was oozing with awesomeness! You'll continue to love it as you bite, and even you've finished the whole plate. The buns were perfect, soft but not airy.

The patty is very juicy, soft, and tender. the tomatoes and garlic added to the yumminess of the burger. The cheese sauce was perfect! But I was expecting melted mozarella oozing as you bite the burger because it's called Mozzarella stuffed burger. Nonetheless, it was still good :)
Price: 4 stars
The price was reasonable because it was delicious; it also came with the fries.
Price: Php 255

Over-all: 4 out of 5 stars!

I definitely recommend this burger!

Burger Flags

Chicano Burger

OLA! AMIGOS!

Burger patty with chili corn - carne together with the mexican salsa :D

Presentation: 3

The texture is nice and simple but it doesn’t look tempting for the consumer to eat. No veggies, cheese or onions included in the meal…just plain patty with salsa.. For me it doesn’t look good at all.

Taste: 3.5

The taste of the bun is magnificent and the salsa has a remarkable taste. Deberías intentarlo!!!( You should try it) :P

Price: 3

Cost: Php 75

Unfortunately, the price is pretty expensive. Besides the price, the size is a bit small that you won’t be satisfied with just one order. They should put more ingredients.

Over-all: 3

CRAVEing for BURGERs!

Crave Ultimate Burger

Presentation: 5 stars

It really looked delicious! The burger patty looked juicy! The buns were divine. The melted cheese was to die for! The sweet honey smell of the bacon and caramelized onion was making me crave.

Taste: 5 stars

The presentation was so nice that you would immediately want to attack it. But because it was big, one would dare fathom on how to devour the perfectly looking burger. I don't even know how i attacked it, but i just did. Every bite was awesomeness and perfection combined. The juicy burger blended well with the caramelized onions and the maple bacon, and the cheese makes everything perfect. Even after eating, you'd have that sweet yet salty aftertaste that would leave you wanting more: it would make you crave more.

Price: 4 stars

The price is very reasonable. It did not fail to impress me, and every penny made me want to crave more.

Over-all: 4.5/5 stars

Price: P175

Crave Double-Double Burger

Presentation: 5 stars

As usual, I chose the biggest burger they had to offer and that was the Crave Double-Double Burger. And it was big. Made out of 2/3 pounds of beef topped with hand-leafed lettuce, tomato, white onion, and a generous helping of cheese, it was definitely one of the biggest burgers I’ve had the pleasure of eating.

Taste: 3 stars Price: 4 stars

Expensive? Maybe. Filling? Definitely! I actually had a hard time eating it all. The burger itself looked good though. It looked freshly made, freshly and perfectly cooked, and very appetizing. Taste wise though, it was kind of average for me compared to others I’ve tasted.

Overall: 4/5 stars

Crave Burger with Maple Bacon

Presentation: 5 stars

The burger was beautiful. It had a fresh look that made it very appetizing. Unlike the burgers from Bite Club, Crave Burger’s burgers looked very good served on a tray with paper. The people who made the burger really paid attention to the burger that’s why the burger looked very eye-pleasing.

Taste: 3.5 stars

You would expect the Crave Burger with Maple Bacon to have an explosion of bacon. Unfortunately, it did not. The maple bacon topping was only a little strip of bacon (just 1 piece). The patty was flavorful but it was a bit on the dry side.

Price: 3 stars

The Crave Burger with Maple Bacon will cost you P200. The Crave Burger is P170 while the Maple Bacon (just 1 strip of bacon) costs P30. Seriously, why would 1 strip of bacon cost P30? It was just not good enough for P30.

Overall: 3.8/5 stars
